spent a little more time with it and I'm pretty sure it's Sanskrit with a Gujarati translation in the back. it's not really too important for me to get it right anyway

What are you doing going to college? If you'd be happy working a 40 hour week making 40k/year you can do that pretty easily without a degree.

i used to make fun of the Van Halen brown M&Ms thing with the best of 'em but it turns out it was really a clever ploy for them to make sure the promoters read the rider closely so they wouldn't worry about sound/lights/pyro being fucked up

I was just searching for a journal article that I needed to cite and I found it, written by a guy named Graham Spanier written in 1979. I'm like, that name sounds familiar. And then I'm like, oh that Graham Spanier.

phdave reminded of this local story re:Penn's Vice-Dean Resigns because it turns out he didn't have the doctorate from Columbia he had cited on his resume.


A university spokeswoman said on Wednesday that Lynch, 47, was unaware he didn't have the degree.

"He mistakenly believed that it was complete," spokeswoman Kat Stein said Wednesday afternoon.
