So I haven't been able to login to BSG on my iPhone in like a month or so. Anyone have any ideas? I put the login info in and it just sends me right back to the same screen.
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

I've spent the last hour trying to read up on how that could be possible.

I wish someone would just give me a pile of money for doing nothing. I think I'd like that.

I haven't had that problem yet, but I have to log in every time I visit the page, even though I click the "remain logged in" box

Used to fish out of Half Moon Bay, gorgeous place.

Leaving California was one of the happiest days of my life. No more super high taxes on everything from sales tax to personal income tax to gasoline tax, no more super high cost of living, no more dealing with some of the dumbest people on the planet (it did get better the further away from the major cities one went).

I remember the Contra Costa County sales tax was 7.5% in the late 90s and was low compared to San Francisco county...it was 8.5% IIRC.

Where I live it's 8.25 right now, where I work is 8.50.

Then I'm in the highest state income tax bracket (yea, that sounds cool until you realize how low the highest bracket is). 9.3% gone.

Add on to the absurd cost of living out here and, I just can't do this any longer than is necessary. I'm doing alright for myself, but I'd be living like a king pretty much anywhere else other than NYC (in terms of making decent cash and not having to work investment banker or corporate lawyer hours). It really bothers me.

Great place to visit. Some people really fall in love with the place and move there (guilty as charged), then realize it's super expensive to live, most people there are shallow frauds, the chicks in NoCal are beat, and the traffic is the worst in the country...and then move out...

The only place I'd move back to is along the Cental Coast from Santa Barbara County north up to Monterey, probably would look at San Luis Obispo County...lived there for a year and loved it before heading back to DC for Unca Sam.

I am interested to experience this legendarily terrible traffic firsthand. if it's as bad as everyone says, I could never live there.

Imagine all the worst qualities of the major highways in PA and NJ, spread over 5 or 6 lanes in one direction

Same issue for me, and that's for all sites that require a login

Maybe try clearing your cache for Safari? It's under Settings --> Safari --> Clear Cookies and Data (for iOS 5.1, anyway). You'll probably lose all of your saved logins for various sites, though.

are you headed to LA, San Diego or the Bay Area?

101 and the 5 in LA will lock down tighter than Jenna Jameson on a cock between 2-7PM on most days. The 10 isn't much better.

San Diego isn't too bad for the most part.

The Bay Area will eat you alive. I spent three hours on the 101 going from San Jose to San Francisco one memorable evening...all of 40 miles away. I80 once you hit the Easy Bay can turn real ugly quick and I've spent more hours stuck on 680 then I wish to remember.

spending Wednesday and Thursday in LA then heading down to San Diego for Friday and Saturday, Cardiff-by-the-Sea to be precise. checking out the Getty on Thursday which I can't wait for because I've been kind of obsessed with seeing Ensor's Christ's Entry into Brussels in 1889 for about a decade now. hitting Petco on Saturday to see the Phils. it's my first vacation since New Orleans two years ago so I'm just incredibly jazzed

Looks like Safari was set to never accept cookies, so I switched that after clearing cache. All good. Thanks
