Even if they do take the loans the politicians are just going to pocket it again.

Two weeks ago the Egyptian elections seemed promising. The leading candidates were Amr Mousa and Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh, both moderates. Now the top candidates are Ahmed Shafiq, a Mubarek holdover, Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohamed Morsi and socialist Hamdeen Sabbahi who once said "Any weapon that kills an American is good."

gas prices are about to hit a two year low. crazy that 3.66 is a two year low.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

This Memorial Day weekend, motorists will find gasoline plentiful and at the lowest price it’s been for two years.

I have a low opinion of Politico, and this nonsense drives it lower if that's even possible.

Love that all those "experts" who've chimed in with their ideological 0.02 (including Shitsack-In-Chief Grover Norquist) just assume the assertion is true

I swear if Norquist was walking towards me on a DC street I'd make mean faces at him

What they're saying is that this memorial day is lower than it was last memorial day. So, two years ago it was lower on memorial day, so there's the "two years" part. Seems like it's just a terrible writer or someone trying to craft a sentence to make something sound like something better than it really is while maintaining factual credibility if questioned. IOW, intentionally misleading.

So it's terrible WRITING instead of terrible REPORTING. That makes it SO much better.

tell me exactly how that last is true except for those who get their news & knowledge exclusively from Fox or maybe ESPN

tranny coulter is a hatchet-faced crone who's envious of any creature sharing her physiology that has menstruated in life

plenty of vets who'd rather hear someone tell them "you're hired" vs "you're my hero"+"oh you want a job? Eff off"

doc, believe me, i'm with you. it's not you and me that will misinterpret his comments. it's people who DO get their news from FOX and rush limbaugh. all i'm saying is that for a metrosexual looking, hipster glasses wearing, product in hair having, sunday talk show host on MSNBC to make these comments is at best obnoxious and at worst condescending and out of touch (and my vocabulary being much worse than yours, probably other much more bad things, too)

i mean,
Chris Hayes says he is uncomfortable calling fallen members of the American military "heroes" because it is "rhetorically proximate to justifications for more war."

just gtfowtbs. i can't even imagine how upsetting that would sound to conservative war veterans. there are far better sounding ways to make that point.
