Back in December I bought a groupon deal for the Tahoe Snow Bomb card. For $75, I got 4 lift tickets, 4 days worth of free rentals and 2 night at a hotel. Sweet deal. Well, I'm not sure what happened, my guess is that it has to do with the shitty ski weather this year, but they sent me 3 of the cards. So now I've got 12 lift tickets and rentals and 6 nights at a hotel. Pretty cool.

this all started on a drunken whim in New York City the day after I'd intended to see the Phils play the Mets at Citi Field before being foiled by a rainout re-scheduled after my return trip to Philly. I walked into a really cool shoe store, walls lined with caps. After examining them all I narrowed my choices down to a San Jose Sharks hat and a Golden State Warriors hat, both snapbacks. I settled on the Sharks hat, owing to my youthful affinity for them. A few months ago I got the itch again and grabbed a Portland Trailblazers cap from Mitchell and Ness. At this point, the trend was set: I have an unexplained liking for teams from the northwestern part of the country, and I tend to hold a deep-seated resentment toward teams sharing a conference with Philly teams. Last night I found my baseball hat.

I used to have this as a fitted cap that's now long gone. I've always loved this logo and now it's perfectly fitting in my collection. Next up is the Oakland Raiders in August/September.

That's a nice hat. I used to be big on collecting hats. Then I realized that very few of them fit me the way I'd like, so I pretty much stopped. The only hats I wear now are an A's hat and a 12 year old Reading Phillies hat because they fit so perfectly.

I wore hats a lot in college, because I had long hair and it was my preferred way of keeping my hair out of my face, and it was also easy to roll out of bed and put on a hat so I didn't look like a complete slob going to class without showering. Nowadays the only time I wear hats is when I go to ballgames.

I love hats, but I can't wear snap backs, they don't fit me well because of my large head, I guess. I have like 5 phillies hats, a couple flyers hats, a bunch of eagles hats, and a bunch of various company or what misc hats. I only wind up wearing this blue Adidas hat or a blue Nike hat with my company's logo on the side consistently. I think they are "golf hats", but they fit me perfectly. I wish Nike or Adidas made MLB, nfl, or NHL logo hats. I would buy them

Woke up to a weird sound. I went to investigate and it turns out a dumb bird keeps jumping/flying at low to moderate speeds into one of my windows.

As I'm sure you could imagine with Seattle's plentiful hipster culture, i see hats/shirts/jackets with that M's logo all the time up here. I actually collect minor league baseball caps and I alternate them when the Phillies lose during the season. It's not a superstitious thing, but just an arbitrary way I can keep things fresh. I know it's kind of lame, but 2 of my favorites right here:
