if you like the outdoors, no state is better IMO. ridiculous scenery, of just about every terrain type. Outside of Salt Lake/Ogden/Provo, Park City, and Moab, though...it's the 1850's.

This quotation is probably apocryphal.

But yeah, the preposition at the end of a sentence rule is a result of somebody a long time ago deciding that English would be better if it conformed to Latin grammar. Problem is, English doesn't really fit Latin grammar so you wind up with ridiculous constructions such as that.

there's an extremely simple way to avoid violating this rule. Just add this one simple word to the end of suspect sentences.

instead of:

"Where you at?"

it becomes

"Where you at, m-fer".

Works for every such occasion.
