Things are a little desperate when you start talking about the MATH being on your side. Delegate count sounds #$!&@ when there are still delegates to capture and talking about the popular vote is just talking out of your ass.
Thanks, Us.
When you watch a sporting event do you like to know what the score is and whether there's enough time left for the losing team to realistically come back?
Does the popular vote all of the sudden matter? Mitt is the candidate, the other contenders who have seem to have written Paul off are just are not credible. Newt needs to grasp that he is done. Santorum is astounding that he is still around, but he is just not Romney (wait until he loses PA). Mitt needs to get back to ignoring these clowns and working the issues that matter to the election in a confident way. When he is talking about being ahead and his candidacy being inevitable does not come across as confident, it seems wishful. I think that all the internal destruction that this seemingly prolonged fight for the nomination will equate to a second term for the sitting president. The devil you know, reset for 2016.
Who is making the comeback in your statement? Romney? That is the leader playing it out like a loser. Is Santorum still the comeback kid? Who's on first? Newt might just be right, the guy in the lead is looking like he might not be able to finish the race (well, sounding like).
