Things are a little desperate when you start talking about the MATH being on your side. Delegate count sounds #$!&@ when there are still delegates to capture and talking about the popular vote is just talking out of your ass.

Thanks, Us.

When you watch a sporting event do you like to know what the score is and whether there's enough time left for the losing team to realistically come back?

Does the popular vote all of the sudden matter? Mitt is the candidate, the other contenders who have seem to have written Paul off are just are not credible. Newt needs to grasp that he is done. Santorum is astounding that he is still around, but he is just not Romney (wait until he loses PA). Mitt needs to get back to ignoring these clowns and working the issues that matter to the election in a confident way. When he is talking about being ahead and his candidacy being inevitable does not come across as confident, it seems wishful. I think that all the internal destruction that this seemingly prolonged fight for the nomination will equate to a second term for the sitting president. The devil you know, reset for 2016.

Who is making the comeback in your statement? Romney? That is the leader playing it out like a loser. Is Santorum still the comeback kid? Who's on first? Newt might just be right, the guy in the lead is looking like he might not be able to finish the race (well, sounding like).

hmm. they picked two examples that rankle me the wrong way and reek of socialism. Paraphrasing:

"Don't give tax breaks for employers supplying health insurance. Collect that money and let the government dictate healthcare!"

"Don't give tax breaks for charitable contributions. Let the government collect that money and decide our philanthropy for us!"

No it doesn't

What's the dominant religion of the good ole PR big guy?

Roman Catholic, which has been one of Romney's best demographic groups so far in this primary calendar.

Do you think there are a higher percentage of in name only Catholics in the NE or in PR? Not really the same thing.

Holy shit, werthless. One is deliberate lying to try to make a huge chunk of the populace mistrust the POTUS based on some religious hysteria and the other is trying to measure the effect of that lying. With that logic, you would blame the victim who complains about being robbed, I guess.

We saw how well it worked when Kerry just ignored the attacks on his military record.

yeah, how is it a "ridiculous" question to ask if someone thinks obama is a muslim?

i guess. i always thought push polls asked something way more inflammatory.

Perhaps the most famous use of push polls is in the 2000 United States Republican Party primaries, when it was alleged that George W. Bush's campaign used push polling to torpedo the campaign of Senator John McCain. Voters in South Carolina reportedly were asked "Would you be more likely or less likely to vote for John McCain for president if you knew he had fathered an illegitimate black child?"

really not the same as asking whether one thinks the prez is a MOZLEM, but whatever

From that article:

"It strikes me that Rick Santorum is about the most determinedly anti-political top-level politician I've ever witnessed. No matter what state he is debating in, he refuses to find some wiggle room on issues where his position is at odds with a deeply held local position. For instance, tonight he has made zero attempt to provide any sops at all to the majority of Floridians who opposed drilling in the eastern Gulf -- not even any verbal nods to the idea that of course it is important to keep beaches clean, etcetera."

I pretty much think that Santorum is certifiably nuts and a massive liar but I have to respect the fact that he does not change his position on issues based on the group he is talking to. At least you know what you are getting with him.
