yeah, she's in surgery now, they might even have to take off the crushed ring finger depending on how bad it is. just awful.

when I was a full-time carpenter for a summer using the table saw all day I was in constant fear of losing fingers, but you have to get shit done fast so you can't really take your time and be careful like you want to. it kinda wore me down mentally and I'm real glad I have all digits

The summer I worked in a deli I cut my pinky pretty good while using a meat slicer to slice up tomatoes for subs.

I really like them, as there are tons of awesome ones being made right now, and often wear mine in the room while I'm cheesing, but I feel goofy when I wear them out and can't stop adjusting them on my head

i went through a windshield but had time to put my arm up to block it and cut my wrist up pretty good. tons of stitches, and if felt floppy for a few days when i took the splint off

As part of the Art Museum’s Art & Social Transformation Series, and to celebrate her Ten Years retrospective, local artist and author Zoe Strauss will be holding lectures on topics ranging from modern photography to politics to Bruce Springsteen. For this particular discussion on “the intersection of art and political activism,” Strauss will be joined by grizzled folkie Steve Earle, an outspoken Iraq War critic who’s no stranger to political causes. He’ll also read excerpts from I’ll Never Get Out Of This World Alive, his debut novel about a morphine-addicted abortionist haunted by the ghost of Hank Williams, a book that’s accompanied by an album of the same name.

The Kid woke up with a lot of arm/wrist pain this morning and couldn't move it. Dr. Mom examined him and took him to the E.R. for X-Rays. :(
