Probably mentioned this before, but our neighbor across the street FILLS his yard with old school plastic Christmas decorations. He has everything -- a manger, Santa train, snowmen, elves. There has to be at least a hundred different pieces. And nothing is newer than 20 years, at least.

But he starts his decorating with his cherry picker, stringing lights on the eaves of his house, and hanging a giant santa face over his garage.

It cracks me up because the kids in the neighborhood LOVE it. I've seen one family bring their kids by several times a day. But most of the adults I talk to are either indifferent or hate it.
