I've made 11 posts on BSG involving the word socks (12 now I guess). 5 of them were about receiving socks as a gift/wanting to receive socks as a present.

Birthday is coming up in two weeks, I know what I'm asking for this year.

A woman I used to work with bought her dad 360 pairs of socks for Christmas one year. A lot of people thought that was a really dumb gift, I thought it was pretty awesome. A new pair of socks every day, but then again, I think new socks are awesome.

Mrs. Vulture and I had an argument about socks this morning. It was as tedious as you might imagine. Upshot--I will try folding my socks together when I take them off.

A co-worker of mine commented that she forgot to put on deodorant this morning because her daughter was screaming cause she couldn't find her socks and she needed her assistance immediately.

There's nothing quite like slipping on a new pair of socks.

i put one dirty sock inside the other when i throw them in the laundry.

i have to agree...

not only do i question the inner sock's ability to fully cleanse, you are going to have to take the inner sock out if you wish to have it properly dry in the dryer.

that's why I just don't wash my socks, too many things can go wrong

you all act like this is crazy. clothes need room to get cleaned in the wash. balling one sock up inside another seems to go against that principle.
