i guess i must expose that at around age 25 I got an unexpected $600 check after I changed jobs. Didn't recall even signing up for the 401K. So I bought myself an Ovation electric/acoustic. That thing saw a lot of stage use. I still have it to this day.

So a good friend of mine from a previous duty station was in a bad accident a few months ago leaving her unable to work. I presume she got behind on her bills being unable to work. Anyway, I go to call her phone yesterday and I get "the number or code you dialed is incorrect, message 7, switch 221". I assume she didn't pay the bill and her phone got shut off, but any techno guru's know what that might mean?

As you've probably guessed, it's not for your benefit, but to prevent the clerk from selling that taskykake to you (full price or not) and just pocketing the money without going through the register. If a few extra forests have to burn and the earth to be rendered barren through depletion of the atmosphere's protective blanket in order to reduce shrinkage due to employee theft, so be it.

I stopped going to acme in part because they gave me a three foot long receipt, a survey thing and 6 coupons at every purchase. Knock it off

sears is really bad with the receipt/ coupons.
