I know you've never been banned, I'm just making a helpful suggestion to TPTB.

You can look at all 19,000 on my posts - I rarely get on another poster or make fun of people. It's not my style at all. For me to say something, you have to be really obnoxious.

No, you're obnoxious in all different ways. But it's the same at the EOD.

It's not like there's anything of fruit here. The last discussion was about the United States splitting up, really? On that note I'd like to see some type of Battle Star Gallactica like federation.

Can you explain why you talk the way you do? This was the clearest thing you've ever written (That and the line about me having a big ass). Can you try doing that with more of your posts. The thing is, which you never address, we mostly agree on everything, why would you want to push me and other supporters away? You don't speak clearly. You MUST know this no? Tell us why. Tell us the story of a young smoothie, who didn't try to obfuscate every point he ever made by using long words like obfuscate and lots of conditional fragments.

Jeff, there are these things called dictionaries. Most people who have learned to write complete sentences know about them.

fatuous: foolish or inane; silly

broaden your vocabulary. The world may be a little less confusing for you.

Smooth answer the question. Why speak so densely. Did it hurt you when pacino said he couldn't understand you? I have a master's degree, do you think you should be writing at a level beyond that? Were you confused by all the other scholarly discourse on here?
Of course the thing is your writing isn't academic. It's dense for smoothy amusement sake.

For the record, my comment to jeff2sf was not about politics, or his disagreement with my totally fantastical notion about the elimination of states as legal entities. My comment was about his rhetorical style, and his tendency to badger people to get a rise out of them by finding the most insulting way to make his point. And I was more annoyed by his attitude toward drsmooth than to me.

Jeff, perhaps I'm mistaken but I've always figured doc's style here to be more of a "stylistic fun" thing than anything else. And assuming moz being 100% serious with his posit... this board was the home of the great stand/sit wipe debate FFS, one destined for the annals of history.

(maybe not as great as my debating on whether or not to purposely "forget" the second "n")

I think literally everything about this post is wrong, from the mischaracterization of the discussion to misspelling "Galactica" to conflating different sci-fi shows.

The premise is that our national structure/model is not now a good fit for our circumstances. If other proposals are "not of fruit," well, it is a fucking Internet site, the playoffs are assured, and to me this is more interesting than yet more talk about the horserace.

But daj, what you're contemplating, a peaceful breakup of the United States of America, is so unrealistic, so much wonky blather that you might find a lot more value from pondering just how you would spend the proceeds of winning two powerball lotteries in a row. I'm just worried about your use of time. You could put that brain to helping solve our problems with realistic solutions, like how to get Ron Paul to come out in support of Ben Bernanke and the good folks at the Fed.
