I ran 2 miles in the heat today, it wasn't fun

I started to blackout Tuesday when I went on my jog, had to walk it in. Oddly enough, a day after the Halladay heat incident.

The 2 moms going for a walk near the track where I ran were looking at me like I was nuts, I don't really blame them, it was way too hot for that and now I feel like shit.

NFL training camp really is insane, crazy to think they used to refuse the players water, shocking that more players haven't dropped dead over the years, especially the ones over 300 lbs.

I recently read an article about the Barkley Marathons; that shit is nuts

any physical activity where you can actually shit yourself (like many marathon runners do) is one that I try to avoid.

I've heard of way too many folks that have been into distance running just drop dead of a heart attack on their morning stroll at relatively young ages.

I'm content with my 2-3 mile runs for now, I hate running anyway, just doing it to balance out the lifting.

i hate lifting and havent done anything more than a 15 lb free weight in over a year. cant muster up the gumption
