What an absurd evening. There was a town party on the beach for the full moon rising, so when I went back up after the game ended my parents' friends were all hammered.

One of the women (50+) did a total face plant into the sand. Another guy who lives down the street whose wife had gone home with the kids was really drunk and started making out with some other woman there and left with her to go have sex on the beach somewhere.

I learned old people are just as dumb as young people when they're drunk.

I went to a bar tonight where I could smoke. How about that?

You know, if I learned anything from living in this unpleasant place for a year, it's that it's not so different from most other places. The 3 glaring differences are number of people, degrees of "common sense", and the people out here make fun of the "coasters" instead of making fun of the middle of the country. First 2 kind of suck because with population brings culture and the culture up here sucks and the way people act around others is just ridiculous(whether it be person to person interaction or even while driving). However, I love experiencing different things and this was an awesome experience.

I know I kinda went off on a major tangent here, sorry. I think it was Housh who said he might move to the midwest in the jobs thread. I'd do it. Especially if you knew it was a stepping stone. You gain a different perspective of the vast country.
