AP European History 2- had a really crappy teacher
AP English- 4
AP Lit- 3
AP Government- 3

I took four years of Spanish, but I can really only read it. I also took two years of Latin, which was an elective. I had to pass up gym in order to take it, unfortunately.

AP classes were so messed up in my high school. We were pretty much told we wouldn't be learning anything that was on the actual tests. But AP classes were weighted differently and so they reflected better in our GPA. So everyone still took AP classes, and they were still harder, but there was basically no chance of doing well on the tests and getting AP credit in college.

Even worse, the only way to get credit for the AP class within the high school was to take the AP test we had no chance of passing, so we still had to fork over the $75 or whatever it was. Some people bought those AP study guides and managed to do ok. I took like 8 of them and don't think I ever scored higher than a 2. I took my AP Chemistry test in 15 minutes, just filled in whatever and went to the mall.

I was going to be in all the AP classes in public school, but I was forced to go to a Catholic school. They had two AP classes and they gave me the option of taking them and I didn't.

I shoot for the stars.

Pretty much the same for me. Our poor ass high school only offered the US History one, and I think I got the 2 or 3 or whatever didn't qualify for college credit. There were no language ones, but we had to take half a year of language in 7th and 8th and a full year in 9th. I continued it through 12th, thinking hey, 5 years of French is enough and I won't need to do it in college too, right? Wrong! 3 semesters required in college too, but I took a test to skip right to II and III in my freshman year. In my senior year, I took two semesters of Japanese even though I met all requirements. It looked interesting, I figured it would be neat to have on a transcript or resume (especially in a tech field) and I needed classes to meet the 15-credit minimum for full-time status. Got As in both. yay

Political people am I going to have a hard time getting student loans? I mean I have one now but they didn't give it to me till like November even though I was accepted for it and then they reimbursed me. I don't have 30,000 to give to the college until they reimburse me next year.

I got three AP credits (Calculus, C++ Programming, English) but they only filled pre-reqs, letting me start a level higher in college tracks. They didn't fill core requirements or let me take less overall courses or anything

Is it sad that I know the next line of what Cher (Alicia Silverstone) is going to say to Josh (Paul Rudd) in Housh's avatar?

Josh- What are the chances of you shutting up until you get your way?
Cher- Slim to none. Come on. Let's go.

We are still in between projects at work, so I am working from home today. We just had a meeting about how we are in between projects and went over how to use remote desktop connections, again.

Looks like the rest of the day will consist of netflix and xbox. If I ever bitch about my job, will someone please slap me?

Sounds like the meeting to discuss how you're between projects and how to use remote desktop was taking away valuable XBox time. I'd be pissed.
