It has to be in the top 10 for most d-bags (and I say that referring to men and women) per capita on the east coast.

I've only been to Manayunk twice. Once to have a fantastic brunch with my parents. The other time Landon Donovan scored a goal against Algeria and euphoria ensued.

I like Manayunk.

it's really not that bad, I guess; I'm sure you'll find a few oases to make your own, but there's going to be a ton of nights where something is going on in the city and you're gonna stay in because you don't feel like driving/taking the train/taxi
