Was wondering why the company hasn't solicited for the annual United Way campaign in what seems like forever. So it just came out. The deductions start in April- the same time that the ACR (yearly raises) hit. So the past three years there was no ACR, and I guess they pulled the campaign so as to not raise the ire of the flocks.

(I gave with donor option to the Franklin Institute, btw).

I don't think anyone is/should be arguing synthetic over organic unless you're unable to get the latter or if you're worried about the negative repercussions of getting the latter. Even then, I'd say it's a little too untested to trust that it won't have its own negative consequences.

We keep getting calls, over and over again, from some company possibly a debt collector asking for a family member. When we say that there is no one by the name of the family member at this number they hang up. We've tried to get them to tell us more when they call back (still just asking for the same person) they don't tell us anything except that they are a financial services company. We don't really have much contact with the family member any more (we lent/gave money a long time ago and tried to inquire about what the problem was by talking to other family members and as a result were cut off from interaction with the family member) so we don't know what might be going on. We have no idea how our number became to be associated with this family member.

What does this company want? Why do they keep calling us and hanging up at the first sign that the person they are calling is not going to pick up the phone? I'm trying to figure out what their game is. Are they just trying to harass various family members hoping that we will start putting the pressure on? Or are they expecting the person they are calling for to answer one day? I don't get it.

So I just had lunch at Hoss's since I had a free lunch coupon and I decided to add on the salad bar too. I make my salad and the have iceberg, mixed greens, spinach, and then a bowl of romaine with parmesan and croutons. I go with the last bit, add some other salad fixins then go to get a little dressing. No caesar. Nine types of dressing including 2 ranches, 2 italians, fucking 1000 island, yet no caeser. Not even that 'creamy' glorified salty mayonnaise version.

How can you have a bowl of what is essentially caesar salad mix premade and then have no fucking dressing?!

It's an illegal debt collection practice. Debt collectors will obtain a debtor's family member from lexis nexis and then call them looking for the debtor. They know that they won't find them there, but they do it to embarrass the debtor to try to get them to pay.

Next time they call mention that the person doesn't live there and if they continue to call and harass you that you will file a complaint with the FTC and your states AG. They'll stop calling.
