i skipped my drug test yesterday.

when i came into work today to tell my boss that i had missed the test his face went white. then i told his boss and it looked like she was going to fire me on the spot.

thankfully i was able to reschedule it to tomorrow morning at 8am

Jeez. What kind of jobs require post-hire drug tests? We had them in the Army but that was the Army.

Oh, and I can send clean urine as well.

There are places around here that now screen for tobacco use as a condition of employment. How wild is that?

i'm going from contract position to direct hire. AFAIK no one has ever been drug tested before post-hire at the company. i will probably be the first regardless

bought a new printer today. just a basic inkjet thingy. fucker didnae come with a USB cable. Who fucking sells a printer today without a USB cable? A network cable, I could understand, but a fucking USB cable? Fuck's sake. tried using an old one I had knocking about, but apparently the printer doesnae like anything other than USB 2 cables (or maybe it was the port on the laptops, fucked if I know), so after an hour and a half of fannying about trying to get it to install, I had to go into town and spend fucking 12 pounds on a poxy little 1 metre job just so I could print off some PDFs that I'm proofing that need to be back by tomorrow.

WHO THE FUCK SELLS A DEVICE WITHOUT CONNECTING CABLES THESE DAYS? APART FROM FUCKING CANON, OBVIOUSLY, THE FUCKING TIGHT BASTARDS.

2 1/2 VALUABLE WORK HOURS WASTED. I COULD HAVE HAD THE JOB FINISHED BY NOW YOU FUCKERS.
