My hood :')

That Little Caesar's was there when I was a little kid, then it went out of business and was a couple other things for a while and then it was a Little Caesar's again. My parents had an unfair chain pizza bias but we also had Fanti's right around the corner, which used to be awesome.
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America

yeah, I think they would deliver to me, and I guess they definitely count as CC.

now that I live alone, I have to be really hungover/lazy as shit to get delivery since it's like 25, 30 bucks for one person as once I'm down that road of splurging and gourging, I go hard at it

Dominos "big change" was adding a vampire-den-destruction amount of garlic. And I think Papa John's has added more salt now. Given the choice, I'd pick Papa John's. Their pepperoncini and CinnaPie put them over the top.

But WFO, I'm gonna have to disagree. The local places, by no virtue of fresher ingredients or different ovens, can be so so so much better. I can rank six local places I like better, but only one delivers. I much prefer to take the 40 minute round trip to Roxborough to get Alex's when I can. But as someone said, the local places have lower lows, also. It takes some local knowledge to get it right.

That's why i love it. You can get regular pizza anywhere. This is a cool twist. Joe's is good semi-burnt pizza. I agree with you about randazzo's.
My overrated is lorenzos. Its just a slab of cheese mushed together. I can heat up cheese at home.

Apparently, there are Little Caesar's all over Philly: http://www.google.com/#q=Little+Caesar%27s&hl=en&prmd=ivnscm&source=univ&tbs=plcs:1&tbo=u&ei=WjpATYC7BJTPgAei6uTmAg&sa=X&oi=local_group&ct=more-results&resnum=2&ved=0CEMQtQMwAQ&fp=2d73bcec2e6e3c54

As long as we are talking about fast food places, the one I really miss is Roy Rogers. I still try to hit one whenever I am going West on the Turnpike or South on I-95 to Maryland/DC. They were always my favorite. There are still a few free-standing ones (read: non-rest-stop locations), mostly in Maryland and Northern Virginia, but I did manage to hit one in Connecticut back in 2006 on my way back from Boston.

There were two Roy Rogerses around my area when I was a kid. One of them is now and has been a Boston Chicken/Market (Willow Grove) since that franchise first appeared, and the other is some kind of pizza joint (Warminster).

In my sillier moments, I think it would be awesome to own a Roy Rogers franchise and help bring it back. It was so much better than McDonald's, BK, etc. And I even like the Whopper.

BIG buffalo chicken fan here, but it rarely seems to work out on pizza. Too dry and sauce-light. If I had a big oven I'd have those dogs drippin

I feel like this is more like the random mini-conversation thread, or conversation experiment thread. Someone floats something, and it gets a response or it doesn't. If it gets a response, and the response builds, this usually leads to a new thread on that subject. Sometimes, there is a response, but a relatively brief one, and then we move on to the next thing. And sometimes, a thought gets no response at all.

That is usually the sort of thought I post in ths thread. :|
