Haven't been to Washington DC since I covered the Eagles and REGGIE BROWN came up one yard short

I don't remember the night before too much, but I do recall I didn't do any sightseeing and I DID end up on the roof of a bar chain smoking clove cigarettes

This was your mistake.

For chain pizza, Domino's is actually pretty good IMO. They're markedly better than they were before that whole viva la revolucion thing they did. I love what they did with the pizza crusts.

I'm tired of defending Domino's. Haters gonna hate.

I had Pizza Hut last week (because I didn't pick where I was eating). It's worse.

I'd rather have Domino's than any of the three pizzerias closest to me, La Dolce Carina, Tower, and Mix. Tower is particularly gross, like rats and stuff

Mix isn't all that bad, but it pisses me off how they say it's brick oven and it's clearly not

I've got this mild head cold that makes me feel like I'm slightly hungover. That, in my opinion is the worst--the consequences without the fun.

We used to order from Lazarro's down on South Street & 20th or so I think when I lived at 119 S. 22nd Street. Try them.

not to be a dick, but I hate Lazarro's. their sauce is so sickly sweet.

Slice on Sansom and 17th is great so I go there. just trying to make the point that plenty of Mom and Pops are just as bad or worse than chains.

Well, now that you mention it, I don't really remember being all that enamored of Lazarro's. But when I moved in, it was where my roomate had been ordering from for years, and inertia being what it is...

Anyway, the pizza choices are markedly better down in S. Philly I've found. But I'm not really a connoisseur of pizza either, so maybe I am not discerning enough. Pizza to me is the ultimate utilitarian food: you get it because it is quick, it is hot, and it is delivered.
