Does not sound like grounds for friendship

i'm not upset about it now because we listened to Funeral and Pinkerton and now all my love and hate and angst and junk is gone. Man, buying the Pinkerton Deluxe Edition on vinyl was probably the best purchase I've made in my entire life.

i think someone said something about us that was sex-related, and she acted repulsed, and i was slightly offended. so that subject came up.

chances are, she'll try and hit you. but when you leave, she'll cry herself to sleep.

if it takes you 350 pages to finally get the reader engaged in some of your massive cast, it's a fair job to say you're doing it wrong.

Vox, Moz and TV might say they dislike fantasy, but they have no idea. None.

ugh.

And I bet the character and place names are all memorable and easily distinguished from one another.

Being normal is pretty over rated Calvin.

Holy poop. Turns out that the victim of the fried chicken shooting is the good friend of a good friend (she's one of 5 people on the hospital visitation list, so she's pretty tight).

The story is just about as screwed up as you could imagine. The victim got into the shooter's car, and started scarfing down the driver/shooter's fried chicken. He got in his car and took offense, and they started fistfighting in the car. That didn't work out too well, so everyone got out and the fighting continued. The victim's cousing then attempted to restrain the victim, and while he was holding him back, the shooter went into the trunk and pulled out a gun, then shot the dude in the back. Over fried chicken. Let me be clear about this- all the people who were there think that this was as fucked up as we do- it's not just BAU.

She says these weren't druggie/troublemaker types. But apparently the shooter needed to have the gun just to keep up with the Joneses.

This could be gun control exhibit A1. Woulda just been a fistfight that everyone laughed about in the morning if it wasn't for the easy accessibility of guns.

Hypothetical situation....

Let's say you (male/early 30s) and your wife decide to separate/divorce/whatever, and you have to move out. You're in DE, but it's a small place, and although things btw you and her are amicable, you'd prefer not to see her all over town (especially if other dudes are eventually tagging along with her).

Consider that you travel for work, and your territory is Central PA--KOP--Center City--Delaware. Where would you move?

Just for shiggles (<--new word) here's some starting points:

West Chester
-- Young crowd, stuff to do, good apartment availability/variety, not too expensive

Philly
-- Great culture, nightlife, lots of ladies, but expensive rent/car insurance, etc

Lancaster
-- Downtown's surprisingly cool, inexpensive, close to family, but lots of memories

Colorado, CA, Oregon, etc
-- Tear up roots and start all over, plenty of hiking and scenery, but expensive w/ grizzly bears

...someplace else?

Hypothetically, where would you go. Hypothetically?

then id recommend somewhere outside of Philly. maybe ardmore? a place where you're a short hop to the city, but also not quite paying philadelphia prices.
