Are they mafia?

Have you ever been to Naples? I'm not a fan though most of the rest of Italy (that I've seen) is pretty awesome.

It's been about 18 months since I was in Italy and I can honestly say that I don't go more than a a day or two without thinking about going back. I'm almost certain I could spend the rest of my life in Siena or Florence or pretty much any town in Tuscany or Emilia–Romagna. I have family in Naples, so the next time I go back....

Like I said, we're psyched. My only regret is with so much baby stuff coming over, there's no way in hell I get to bring my bike. The hills in the area are awesome. If I'd had passed that goddam driving test, this would not be a problem, but nooooo, I had to fail. There's a small select list of things better than cycling round italy and grabbing good cappucino wherever you stop, but the list is very, very small.

Goddam driving test.

I have no idea what channel four stuff gets over to the states, but we have a very knowledgeable design and architecture presenter called kevin mccloud who did a series called Grand Tour which was all about the architecture in venice, rome and florence. Between all the italian shirts, coffee and talking about glorious buildings, it was the zenith of lifestyle porn for me.

If I were in the celebrity limelight, I would have tried to date Natalie Portman when she had her shaved head after V for Vendetta. Then, it would just be a waiting game until she was hot again. Hopefully, when she realizes she is hot again, she will stay with you because you liked her when she wasn't a 10. When it comes to celebrities, buy low.

If you got a US license, would you still have to take a test in Great Britain? Because there are some states with wickedly easy driving tests.

Right now, I'm watching Giada on the Cooking network. She's doing a tour of Venice, Parma, and Rome where she goes to different places and eats their foods.

Venice is the most remarkable place I've ever been.

I need to find someone to watch my kids and dogs so I can go back ASAP.

That's a great idea. Then again, I could configure the parental controls on my router to do the same thing (block internet access during certain times of day). Probably be better because I could allow traffic to work websites in case I had to do something.
