have you been listening to my conversations? after my first drink at Mad River I said almost the exact same thing.

Haha, no. Besides, it'd be hard to hear all backed into a corner, straining to see the one TV with the Flyers on.

i was sitting in the corner
there were two televisions with the flyers on, neither of which i could see
what the hell

What the hell, indeed. It was a good thing that one waitress fought to get the Flyers on a little, or else you would've been totally unprivy to the game's progress. I suppose there are iPhones and the like.

So Bebe's pulled pork sandwich in the Italian Market might be the best way to spend $6 in Philly. And with a Paesano's on its way to the Market, that's just going to be over the top.

pretty much the only part of the game i saw was Carcillo knocking the crap out of the other dude. and yes, the waitress told us how she fought to get it on. and i checked the score from my iPhone a couple times.

you either know me or we had a very very strange near-miss.

Man, that ruse didn't last too long. It was more fun when Werthless had no idea who I was for like seven months. I was actually sitting at your table.

apparently Harpua knows me in real life.

I even alluded to this board when I was talking to Weeden about the Mets. This is some digital age stuff here.

Eh, I only loosely know you, so that probably adds to the weirdness.

Alright, well you've got a Facebook friend request waiting for you. This was an interesting experience.

That raffle I won, it was for a ticket to the Liberty Ball, a $120-a-head fundraiser for Thon. But it was only one ticket. So basically if I want to go, I have to spend 120 bucks on a date. And I have to take a vacation day from work.
