Why is it elitist to not care about Justin Bieber and the rest of the teeny bopper sensations? I couldn't care less if some people like that stuff, it's just not what I enjoy and I don't want it jammed down my throat.

@td, good point. Sports are different, IMO. Sports have been around forever, we've just recently started award shows awarding the puppets of the media and record labels. (I realize this sounds bad, but not sure how else to put it to make my point)

I'll watch it when it doesn't conflict with the Phillies (assuming they're in contention) but I can't get worked up about an Eagles loss.

Because it's really not all that hard to avoid. You don't watch MTV for a day, and if people start talking about it, exit stage left.

Plus anybody that talks about things that are frivolous in society comes off pretty elitist.

I made a little bitch post in today's game thread, but this was one of the best sports days I've had in a long time. Probably since USA beat Canada in that hockey game.

Inferiority complex and paranoia is a tough combination. They'd be coming to get me, but no one wants to.

Mine could out-idiot yours easily. Once got in a fit, tore the door off his camper, and blamed it all on his wife.
