My barber asked me if I wanted it faded or tapered in the back and I actually didn't know what he meant. I usually just rely on my barber to make me not look retarded. I'm pretty lost when it comes to hair, nor do I really care much about hair as long as it's not really fucked up.

I spent a good slice of my workday yesterday researching local gyms, finally deciding, Who the fuck am I kidding?

gym memberships are huge ripoffs.

owning a gym one day would be pretty cool. the cash outflow vs inflow has to be ridiculous.

A chunk of my logic was: if I pay for it, I'll feel obligated to use it

which is silly, really

I'm curious about it too, or the Sony e-reader which is about 1/2 the price. Saw this at Target the other day and it's pretty sexy.

I got Vox the first Kindle 2 years ago. We were practically fighting over it when he first got it. He found all kinds of cool uses for it. You can't beat the instant download of books, especially when you're travelling. I think it's great that you can read the first chapter of a book before you buy it, and a number of classics are free.

Since he got his iPad, and we both sort of got re-hooked on audiobooks, it's been collecting dust.

If you have an iphone user in your house, you can share books as well. Vox and I have separate Amazon accounts, but if I want a book, I just use his account to buy it. His account is set up to send books to my iPhone as well. It's not as good a read as the Kindle by any means, but it does work.

I just read reviews of the newest Kindle, and they supposedly really made it better this time around.

Salma Hayek is 44 today. There's something about her being 44 that makes me feel good. Happy Birthday Salma!

In addition, 3 million New Yorkers reportedly left the city because they realized the phrase "Only in New York" is actually just a defense mechanism used to convince themselves that seeing a naked man take a shit on a park bench is somehow endearing, or part of some shared cultural experience.

The article would have been improved by at least one Mets reference.
