I used to hang out at the 'Vouz a few years back. It's a cool little spot. MLB umpires still frequent the place after games, so I hear.

YES, what is that? I go into a pizza place at like 3 PM on a saturday, there is no one in there except a girl who is like 16 at the register and a dude in his mid 20's making the pizzas and they have fox news on. wha't up with that? If I'd worked there at either of those ages I would have had a baseball game on or something. not re-runs of Glen Beck.

both cleaning women we have had (one our elderly downstairs tenant, the other a 30-something hottie) would watch FOX News while they worked. My dad used to watch it at 90 decibels (hearing loss from too many late 60s, early 70s rock concerts at the old Electric Factory) just so he "knew the enemy".

It's always on at the Emmaus Diner but the sound is often (mercifully) down.

Can't watch news channels anymore. Like Smitty I get a lot of my information here. Even Jon Stewart is starting to turn me off more and more.

I find keeping up on anything but sports and entertainment news exhausting.
