OK so I find the remote and caught like 20 minutes of CSI. These CSI, Law & Order, NCIS shows have it all wrong and give people the wrong impression of how things work and what you should do.

Here is some advice to live by.

- If you fuck up or are just in the wrong place in the wrong time and get arrested invoke your right to remain silent. The only questions you should answer are A) Your full name B) Your birthday C) Your address and D) Your social. The first time they ask you ANYTHING about the reason you were arrested, tell them you want everything to be videotaped (I think it has to be anyway) and then simply say "I want to speak to an attorney". That's it. They can't ask you anything more but if they do repeat "I want to speak to an attorney" . But even if they continue to pressure you after you say those 7 simple words, you could give them a full confession on paper and it would be inadmissible in court.

- This is probably the only show you on TV that is accurate. If you are arrested with a friend, the first thing they are going to try and do is divide and conquer. They will tell you that your friend is ratting you out and they will tell your friend that you are ratting him out. But as long as you follow the advice above don't even worry about it. Make sure your friend knows to do the same. Never ever fall for that and never rat anybody out.

- Never agree to let anyone search your car voluntarily. They either need probable cause or a warrant. Being white in a black neighborhood is not probable cause.

Christ I'm just thinking of/starting to remember some of the shit I have seen in the past 3 nights. Unreal. I'm pretty sure most people would think I was BS'ing if I even scratched the surface so it's pointless to even give any examples.

The important thing is I still got it baby. I still got it but I fear the end is near. I'm closing in on 72 hours I think but I've had a one-eye jack for about an hour now. (Whatever dude- that fucking thread needs to be deleted. It just isn't funny. Like someone can say 'I had a burger for lunch today'... a FUR BURGER????? BAHAHAHA!!!!! I made a funny!)) Anyway the other eye is bound to close soon. I'll probably sleep till Tuesday but I'm going to do my best to wake up for the Phils at 2:00 even if I'll be brain-dead and in a fetal position trying to process exactly what is happening. I can already feel it. My head is a notch above full blown mush. I can hear like a buzzing noise and then weird sounds like a pinball machine are in there and yet I'm pretty sure I can't hear out of my right ear but I really can't tell anymore.

Ah fuck it. You all left me to fend for myself last night. Highly disappointing.

Things were iffy there for a while, but looking up recently. Unemployment + substance issues = bad recipe.

Got a new job with a major cell phone manufacturer traveling all over the place and doing trainings and trade shows and stuff. It's pretty great and sure beats working 65 hrs a week and missing entire half-seasons of baseball like last year.

Good to hear things are looking better. Peaks and valleys bro. Fuck one day at a time- it's one hour at a time for me. Also fuck working 65 hours a week. I don't think I can even play video games for 65 hours a week although I'm sure I have.

Anyway I'm still pretty much a complete asshole. When I finally thought I was ready to call it a bender, I got a phone call, was picked up 20 minutes later, took a quick ride, and now it has reached Defcon 5. I have to admit, I'm lucky to have my wife because I don't know if there is another woman in the world that can put up with the shit I do when I'm up to no good. Housh will tell you, we partied all night into the next morning/afternoon a few times and she didn't even call me because she "didn't want to bother me in front of my friends" or "make it look like she didn't trust me". I think the last time she did text me just to make sure I was safe because it was after noon and I still wasn't home. This thing started late Thursday and then on Friday at like 11:00 am I told her I had to meet someone who owed me money and would be home in an hour. I didn't make it home till 4:30 or so Saturday morning. Ugh. To be continued...
