Cablevision said they'd come between 10am and 8pm today.

Nobody came, though we called a couple times. Day wasted.

Fuck them with something sharp, rusty and infected.

So I got called a p*ssy earlier tonight for not giving some creepy looking man and his son a ride to a gas station down the street.

I thought it was funny for two reasons:

1) I am definitely a p*ssy. However, I am a p*ssy with a car. I'd much rather be me than that dude and/or his son.

2) The gas station is down the street. He could have spent the time used attempting to hitch to simply walk down to said gas station.

I'm pretty sure that both were axe murderers. I didn't actually see any axes, but... y'know. :|

Just found out last week that I've been wearing shoes a size too small for the last 2 years.

I've been wearing size 13 shoes the last 2 years and in that period I went through shoes about every 4 months or so because they'd rip. I'm used to this since I've played tennis for years and tennis really wears down shoes, but I haven't played in 2 years. The other day I tried on a pair of size 14s and it felt like I was walking on air.

It'll be fun to try to find size 14 shoes the rest of my life, though.

i hear that. i wear 13s and often am shit out of luck cause they don't make those. I feel like your options at 14 will be very limited.

I wear 14s. Basically just order them online. Trying to find them in stores is a real pain. Some stores carry them, but most don't or at best have a real crappy selection.

Crashburn Alley- Great analysis of an all too common situation for me. Even if the man looked like a genuinely nice guy, I wouldn't pick him up to drive one block. No matter what the guy may say to me in anger, I always know that I won as I speed away in a 98 monte carlo. On the other hand, if it was a woman...

Yeah, I still wouldn't let that bitch in my car. Would have to be pretty hot.

I wish I lived in a society where I could trust strangers enough not to murder me or steal my car, but unfortunately that is not the case. I'm even more on alert after sitting next to two people at a poker game a couple nights ago discussing a robbery they had performed.

Yeah, I think I'm going to start doing that. Hopefully this pair lasts longer than 4 months.

So, probably over a year ago, I remember telling someone here that it's better to regret something you have done than to regret something you haven't done. Turns out I'm full of shit.
