Ours is tonight!!! Last year one of my co-workers complained in advance about a professor hitting on her, then showed up looking like Heather Graham in "License to Drive"

You should ask him for all his twenties, as Alexander Hamilton was not a President so those moneys are obviously fakes.

Hamilton is on the 10.

I started talking about our great President Alexander Hamilton after he said it. It was a pretty ridiculous conversation.
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America

Our Development Party is today starting at 3 pm. I'll be out by 5 since they'll run out of beer at 5:15.

I hadn't hear that term before. they're apparently the same as Chinese auctions, which is the term I'm more familiar with, even though they seem neither Chinese or auction to me.

According to http://www.trickytray.com/, other terms used are:penny sale, penny auction, penny social, gift auction, silent auction, brown bag auction, dark horse, basket games.

Also, pick-a-prize and chance auction according to thefreedictionary, which says the tricky tray term was chosen to avoid racial overtones, although not apparently to give anyone any idea what they were talking about.

Drink like it's 2009 and you're gonna be lame in 2014. I'll be lucky if I get home at 10 with enough pep to watch Survivor.

Me too. I just honked and I thought I felt fine when I woke up.

Office holiday party last night. The only good thing about being hungover today is that everyone else I work with is as well.

Why is scalping legal as long as a company does it?

I spent three weeks deftly maneuvering my way out of my in laws' annual post-Christmas trip to NYC to see a play. A play I just found out stars Scarlett Johannsen.

I don't really get why any kind of secondhand ticket broker is legal.

Or maybe I'm just getting way stressed out trying to buy theater tickets that don't suck but aren't 300 each.

i think when you're within a certain distance of the venue it has to be within a certain % of the original price. But once you're outside that distance you can sell them for whatever
