I don't know any men who are attracted to SJP. I think she's the kind of woman that women find attractive.

I didn't realize calling a gift exchange a "pollyanna" was just a Philly thing.

My girlfriend had no idea what I was talking about, so I looked it up on Wiki and they say, "The word "pollyanna" may also denote a holiday gift exchange more typically known as Secret Santa. This term is used in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas of Pennsylvania. It can instead mean a gift exchange rotation in which several families each give gifts to one other family in the "pollyanna" each year. This is often done when siblings in a large family begin to have children of their own.[1]"

I've never heard of that term used in that way before and I've lived in Philly for parts of some years.

I think pollyanna may be more a Catholic school term than a local one. Sort of like "copybook"
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

A "donation-at-the-door eat and drink as much as you want, fatass" fundraiser. I had to learn that one, too.

Also, "Quizzo"? Just Philly. GTFOOHWTBS.

Beef and beers are typically fund-raising events. Where I grew up (King of Prussia), they were oftentimes sponsored by the various local volunteer firefighting companies. Essentially you would play a flat rate of about $20 or so to go to a social hall where they would have a bunch of kegs of beer and hot roast beef sandwiches, potato chips, pretzels, etc...
Another day, another box of stolen pens.

I still have the habit of calling ATMs MAC machines and no one out here ever understands what I'm talking about.
