this Friday is taunting me. usually my Fridays don't even feel like Fridays because i have an abnormal schedule. today was my first day back so it's like my Monday. and yet, there's that feeling in the air. i so badly want to go out and have a massive night but i'm running on a couple hours sleep and have to wake up at 5:30 tomorrow.

It's one of those things you probably really didn't think about when you made your move, but yeah, downtown doesn't have the takeout dinner options of Bella Vista or Queen Village. Is there any takeout Chinese near you? Thinks do get a little better around Spruce/Lombard, right?

i'm with ya. day 5 of 10 straight. so today was like friday but tomorrow is monday. 530 tomorrow as well.

You know what, I haven't really been bitter about this yet, but it would have been nice if we won the All Star Game this year. I don't know if it would have changed anything, but who knows?

If the rule had never changed, the Rays would have had HFA in 2008 (the Angels had it in 2002, the last time alternate year was used). We would have had it this year.

Man, I went out to watch the damn flyers tonight. Lucky 7's didn't have the game on, and the guy next to me was a total bummer.

White Star was packed. I had to stand outside so the waitress could serve a table.

The Lamp Post is just a terrible bar, I hate going there.

Hamilton Park Ale House is closed.

I was reduced to drinking miller lite in my apartment and streaming the game online.

I really wish I knew more sports fans around here. or at least if we had an actual sports bar.
