Argh. Chicks don't dig the long ball. A horrible sexist statement based upon a promotion. Chicks love good defense & pitching more than anything. Oh, and Chase wins the good looks extra points, too.

I realize this is anecdotal, but I imagine you don't have statistical proof that chicks dig long ball. Those that I know have favorite players by far that are not sluggers.

Of course.

I liked Florence--great inexpensive restaurants, copious cheap red wine, beautiful surrounding countryside, but I could live a long and happy life and never see another Madonna and Child Renaissance painting again.

Geez louise, that's right on the money unless things have changed greatly in the last 25 years. Man, the Uffizi was cool but Madonna and Childs everywhere. The Renaissance was probably pretty boss for a while but you have to think some of those painter guys got a little tired of painting the same Madonna and child and fat little angel dudes flying around everywhere. I wonder if they had a punk or grunge type reaction at some point.
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can

God bless you guys who have the patience and determination to write long expository posts.

Being lazy, I'm just gonna say I don't think that analogy really works.
