thanks a lot man, we're going to be there for three nights then heading to a cabin in the Great Smoky Mts. until Aug. 14th. It's going to be hot but I've always wanted to visit the south.

rita's now has swedish fish flavored water ice. it is awesome and you should definitely try it if the stars align and you get the chance. however, the taste of it can be a bit much, so try getting half swedish fish and half of another flavor so as not to be overwhelmed.

We saw that at our Rita's last night. VoxJr was all over it until we reminded him that (like his mom) he doesn't like water ice.

I'm at a loss to understand how someone could dislike water ice. I mean, its just ice, with flavor.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

I'll eat Rita's and there are some flavors I like. But growing up, I couldn't stand the stuff in paper cups. Same with sherbet.

Some flavors are nasty. Like mint chocolate chip and cookies and cream. I guess really any of the cream ices.

They are coming out with Caramel Apple and Pumpkin Pie in September.

If it makes you feel any better, it really hasn't been very hot here at all. It was very hot for about 10 days in mid June (97 degrees, really high humidity), but otherwise, it's been very temperate. I've been very surprised. It's been a lot like a normal PA summer, though it's rained a lot this past week.

Have fun. If you get a chance, let me know how you like the cabin. I'll be looking for a place like that next spring.

Yes, the Smokies are the South, but it's a lot different from what you'd find in the Gulf States, or the Delta, or Tidewater, or Texas.

The Smokies are really part of Appalachia--in some ways, it's more like Central PA than central Mississippi.

So I listened to an interview with the lawyer who defended the kid from Boston U who downloaded the music. And I was struck by how weak his arguments really were. And I recalled how I found Lawrence Lessig equally unconvincing.

I'm not sympathetic with the RIAA at all, and think that DCMA and copyright extensions are extremely flawed.

These guys are supposed to be top legal minds, and yet their writing come off like so much hippie dippy bullshit.

I have a bar tending job lined up on Lincoln Road. Waiting to hear when I start and hoping the tips are going to be enough.
