Um, no, it's the sign that was used to get people for the wrestling scene in Bruno.

I just wrote "points out" instead of "explains" because it's an extra word

Where is MattS? I need confirmation or denial on whether you were in DC today, and whether I missed an opportunity to embarrass both you and myself by yelling at you on the metro.

Worthless? Worthless???

"I drink it up!"

"Acrooo ooo ooosss the room...."

It's invaluable.

But I'm working on the Plainview from the first 85% of the film, not the final drunken portion.

"What's this? Why don't I own this?"

That movie just arrived from Netflix today. Not sure when the hell I'll watch it though

Does a bill/law get ratified, or just passed? Or what?

A bill gets passed by Congress, then it gets signed into law by the President. I think you more hear about treaties getting ratified than bills.

Thanks, I was using a weird tense and thought "the DMCA's passing" sounded a bit absurd. "The DMCA's signing into law" isn't great, but it will do.

But how did you recognize me when I wasn't wearing my giant read X over my face or sporting my 'Line up Cole for the Mets' conversation bubble????

That totally was me. Were you the guy on the up escalator with a red World Champions shirt with either a trophy or a lot of players on the front? I remember seeing a guy with that shirt and thinking of screaming, "Go Phillies!" but then I realized you probably had no idea who I was and I realized I hadn't worn a Phillies hat or t-shirt because I was in my work clothes coming from a conference. I'm working in DC and commuting there from Philly every weekday until the end of August, when my wife and I will move down there.

You should TOTALLY have screamed at me. I had just finished telling one of my new co-workers what Baseball Prospectus Idol was and how people were posting that I had been robbed. If you had screamed at me two minutes later saying that I had been robbed, it would have been legendary!

What is the astronomical probability that jerseyhoya would spot MattS on the street during the 10 minute window per day in which he was not drunk?

I spend a lot of the day sober, the real unique part is that I was outside the house. I probably leave the three block radius (in which Taco Bell, the liquor store, and CVS reside) around my house two or three times a week at most. Dupont's a solid 15 minute walk. That's far. Now I'm really regretting not screaming. It would have made for a better story.

Constitutional amendements are also ratified.

DMCA was enacted?--kind of icky.

i really hate it when people talk about something funny they said (usually in the form of an AIM convo they quote in their own profile or something)

but last night i zinged the crap out of this old man at the bar. i'm not gonna quote it because zingers are all in the timing and it wouldn't translate. so i'd appear as self-important as the jerks who quote themselves in their aim profiles
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America
