MattS, were you going down the escalator of the DuPont Circle Metro (south entrance) at approximately 11:30 AM today? I almost yelled "You were robbed" at you, but there's probably a better than even chance it wasn't you, and even if it was, you don't know me and there's no reason outside my Phillies shirt I had on you would have any idea what the fuck I was talking about.

Also a random thought: Does MattS waste his time in the random thoughts thread?

Is there a more worthless impression than Daniel Plainview from There Will Be Blood? Because I've almost perfected it.

you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

But I'm working on the Plainview from the first 85% of the film, not the final drunken portion.

Based on my post in the "college" thread, it appears that senility has set in for me. I'm 26.

So many of the things I post end up in the "That's What She Said" thread. I just don't understand.

Man, my uncle took me out to lunch, and I had a beer and a big burger, so I just had a great and necessary 45 minute nap. Like I thought it was morning initially when I just woke up.

The Valley Club is deeply troubled by the recent allegations of racism which are completely untrue.

We had originally agreed to invite the camps to use our facility, knowing full well that the children from the camps were from multi-ethnic backgrounds. Unfortunately, we quickly learned that we underestimated the capacity of our facilities and realized that we could not accommodate the number of children from these camps. All funds were returned to the camps and we will re-evaluate the issue at a later date to determine whether it can be feasible in the future.

Our Valley Club deplores discrimination in any form, as is evidenced by our multi-ethnic and diverse membership. Whatever comments may or may not have been made by an individual member is an opinion not shared by The Valley Club Board.

Hit a homer with the apartment search. Move in July 25th. Place is amazing. Shockey owns a condo in the complex.

I've been toying with the idea of turning a party into a giant "I Drink Your Milkshake" drinking game. I invented this game but haven't played it yet. Basically, the concept is: Everyone has a straw and the purpose of the game is to drink out of someone else's drink with your straw. If you do, you then say "I drink your MILKSHAKE!" and they're knocked out of the game. Last man standing has to do the whole monologue:

Here, if you have a milkshake, and I have a milkshake, and I have a straw. There it is, that's a straw, you see? You watching?. And my straw reaches acroooooooss the room, and starts to drink your milkshake... I... drink... your... milkshake!
[sucking sound]
I drink it up!

and to defend my willingness to get a mohawk for like a day: I've always kind of wanted a tattoo but I'm turned off by the permanence of it all. When I do something to my hair, it's very reparable. I got my head shaved when I was wasted a few years ago. When I was like 10, I got my initials shaved into my head. I've had my hair dyed a couple times and once I tried some of that blue hair dye they sold at Hot Topic, not realizing it wouldn't have any impact on my near-black hair.

And every mistake is just a buzz cut away from an easy fix. The mohawk is probably the easiest fix of all of them, really. Plus I know I'm not a douche, so I'm not going to walk around like "Hey look at my mohawk I'm so in your face." I'm gonna walk around and pretend nothing is different. And then I'm gonna get a haircut the next day.
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America
