Skyrockets In Flight, Random Thought Delight

That said I'm really excited about this possibility. I'd need to buy a car probably. And talk to people about the best route to drive across the country to maximize awesomeness. Really I'd take this job and leave the couch all so I could drive across the country. I've always wanted to do that.

I'm in an unusually good mood today. Maybe it was the 10-1 win, maybe it was the fact that I slept really well last night, maybe it was the final decision I reached over the last few days to look for another full-time job. At any rate, good stuff. Probably it won't last.

Several times a day I click on the BSG index and am happy to see a new Phandz post, then disappointed to find it's in the soccer thread

Nah, I'm in the office these days. I actually do enjoy watching big soccer games, but more for the atmosphere and hype than the sport itself. Hard for me to really enjoy a sport I never played.

I remember watching a big Italy v. USA match a couple years ago at a pub in DC where the crowd was crazy and half and half. Now that was fun

Last June, my sister decided she would up and move to California. No job. No place to live. Just drive across the country and figure it out from there. She finally convinced a friend to drive with her and they took in all the sites along the way. Then her friend flew home after that.

Flash forward to December and she no longer has enough money to live in California. My dad flew out to meet her and the two of them drove her car and belongings home. They took a slightly different route and checked out some different places than on the way out.

If this turns out to be for real for you, I'll gladly ask her her opinions of the places they stopped and saw both ways.

I'm posting from Addis Ababa, which means I've watched the US beat Egypt about 18 times and the Phillies lose 0. Definitely a win.

After college, I had no idea what to do with my life. I didn't have a career, I was working retail part time. I decided to take a road trip by myself, visited some friends in Ohio, St. Louis, Phoenix, Los Angeles. Afout 2 weeks later, I found myself in San Francisco, figured I'd stay a few weeks there. I moved to New York 3 years later.

It was a great trip and there are so many things you can see and do driving cross country.

Oh, the needle didn't hurt at all. It took like 5 minutes because they had to fill like 10 vials for various tests though. The person doing it was a guy, so no fun scenery from that either. If donating blood is that painless, I may reconsider my reluctance to give blood.

I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.
