Your thoughts on this issue in your early-mid 20s (assuming you don't have children already) are, however, utterly uninformed and meaningless. It doesn't matter how smart you think you are; at those ages you know virtually nothing about anything that is real - anything that matters. Abstractions aren't worth a damn when it comes to nut-cuttin time.
2.) If you choose not to have children, you should concede that you do not know - and will never know - anything about children, parenting, or the life-altering nature of being completely responsible for human beings other than yourself and, therefore, having every decision you make in your life being only tangentially related to what you want to do or what you want (of course, having children is a necessary but not sufficient precondition for knowing anything about these topics; many people with many children will never understand either). Again, a perfectly reasonable choice, but one that precludes you from accurately judging others.

That said, tough $#@!. People need to get places. If it was a sufficient problem, airlines would deal with it somehow.

At 28, I know that having children at this point in my life would be a big mistake, for a number of reasons. I don't begrudge anyone that has children or doesn't have children, mainly because I don't care what anyone else does. Looking at my own experience, growing up with two parents who got married/had me way too young, I think I have some idea of what I should and shouldn't do.
