Wait, did you guys think I posted it because I was thinking about the environment? Me?

The ingenuity of the design is primary, the environmental shoeshine is not the brilliance of the thing, despite their conviction/marketing that it is. I mean, yeah, great, Gaia may have inspired them to build a better mousetrap - whatever. Pizza boxes just as easily could have been invented this cool back when we threw styrofoam Big Mac containers and beer can tabs out of the windows of our 8 cylinder Cutlas Supreme's and the environment wouldn't have had anything to do with it.

Getting that Blue Ribbon Special at Tom Jones was a mistake.

It really doesn't. Does anyone remember how there was a menu item called the "baked pota" that was on their menu for decades?

My roof has a leak. Can't really figure out where it's coming from. All the shingles looked fine last time I checked. Just checked to see if it was possibly migrating, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Thankfully, the rain seems to have passed.

My mother in law's roof started leaking last week after a hard wind. She lives in Oklahoma. Oklahoma is a lot like Arkansas in that the people talk kinda funny and you get a lot of severe weather and tornadoes and stuff.

Anyway, the roof guy can fix her leak for $600 which is OK I guess,

I can do the job myself if I just find the leak. It's a really simple roof. Just a single peak. It's right by the edge--so I wonder if it isn't coming from under or something. I was up in the attic today, and it doesn't appear to be migrating from the furnace or hot water heater exhaust.

When you search for images of a "Hillbilly roof" , you get lots of pictures of the Clintons. Hil-Billy, I guess. It must be a regionalism,;I'd never heard of that before.

You also don't get any funny pictures of a hillbilly roof.

The scene where Jamie Lee Curtis drops the gun in True Lies and it kills all the terrorists is my favorite.

I don't know. If I was a casting person, I'd make sure to put in a call to him.

I love this movie.

I was watching that a little while ago but switched to watch Frequency, for the second time today.

In a related idea, I think Bill Murray (who gets a lot of parts, but anyway) is underrated. I also think Ben Stiller is underrated as well. Probably because both make comedies. Why do people go all nuts over some wooden actor like Russell Crowe--about as interesting as watching a two by four--but fail to give comic geniuses any respect--especially when those comic geniuses are extraordinary versatile actors?
