I don't know. Completely overlooked is probably not the right way of putting it. I was aware of it, but we usually just bought the cheapest beer without regard to the ABV. Young and stupid, I guess. An awful lot of Keystone Light and Busch Light was consumed.

I'm thinking about this now because I picked up two Sierra Nevada 6 packs (Torpedo and Barleywine Ale) earlier this week, and drinking all 12 of those beers would be equivalent to having 24 Miller Lites. Good beer doesn't really cost all that much more than cheap light beer, since having three is like drinking a six pack.

yeah, unless we were getting "good" beer it was always something "ice" or a 40 of steel reserve since it was high alcohol content.

They sell 16 oz cans of bud ice at flyers games for the same price as regular and light, I usually will have 2 of those in the 1st period and be pretty good.

Yeah, so my sound isn't working and I'm turned around looking at the back of the computer and I say in a whiny voice, "But I wanna watch the Bud Ice Pennnnnnnnguuuuuuuuuuuiiiiiiiiin," and it turns out my boss had walked in the room. I'm on my lunch break but it was a not very impressive moment.
