grammar and punctuation and proper english go a long way toward making reading about gas chromatography less loathsome.

In this paper, I shall go into explicit detail about the time, after dining at Jose's Mexican Cuisine, I contracted a bout of gas that literally stripped the chrome off some dude's car as I walked by. Nah, not really. Srsly, it's about the detailed proceedure of such-and-such separation process (but after reading, you'd wish it was about the former) ....

Tomorrow I'm attending my last Georgetown game where one of our players was an undergrad when I was an undergrad. Damn, time flies.

I figure that the top college basketball programs often have their players leave after freshman and sophomore years. For this reason, despite it being only 3 years since graduation, you may not have seen any of the current players play when you were at school.

I forgot that Georgetown isn't really a top program anymore. My bad.

We only play black people, or crazy Belarussians. Duh. But seriously, we graduate way more people than the average bball school.

Also, I think we NEED MORE FANTASY BASEBALL THREADS on the main board.

Took me a minute to work through how you meant "play." ("What the hell--do they just endlessly scrimmage against the Belarussian team?")

I guess my Georgetown attachment (including policy nerd intramural hoops!) is just barely strong enough that I'm proud of this.

I didn't feel compelled to respond by pointing out we've won the Big East two years in a row, which would qualify us as a top program no matter how you defined it because I didn't go to a school whose second biggest achievement in basketball in the past forty years was almost beating Georgetown two decades ago.

The quality of Georgetown's program will be quite apparent when they win the NIT this year. :)

And my alma mater graduates all their players. They're just not very good at putting the ball in the hoop.

For like, my past like 100 posts (which has probably been about 6 months), I look at my post count and think of the year it corresponds to. "Hey, 1974. That's the year the Flyers won their first Stanley Cup."

This post will remind me of graduating elementary school, Wayne's World and the original Dream Team.

Next Post: Lenny Dykstra, Joe Carter and my 6th grade math teacher's wooden leg.
