He should consider taking Lincoln Drive, depending on where exactly he's going. This is the way I drive to work (in North Wales) in the morning. It's much faster (10-20min) than 76 to 476 to 276 in rush hour, and slightly faster (5-10min) offpeak, which usually still has traffic. Late at night the highways will be faster, even though the highway is an extra 3 miles.

Take Lincoln Drive. Make left on Emlen. Take to end, and make left at Stenton. Take right at second light onto Willow Grove. Make left at second light onto Cheltenham. Make right on Paper Mill. Take 309N to Welsh.

That'll get him close to Lansdale. That segment of the ride is about 25-30 minutes, depending on how fast he drives. It takes me 25 minutes most days, but I drive 65-70 on most parts of 309, which is technically a construction zone.

Like I said, he always somehow comes out on top

The times I've been at North Penn high school, it is quicker to get on the NE extension. But this is offpeak, and I don't know how it is peak rush hour.

Clocks spring forward on Saturday night. So there goes an hour of sleep. Not that I have too much to do on Sunday, so I guess I can just keep sleeping till when I would have otherwise awoken.

With my friend, the morning she was supposed to move to San Fran, she changed her mind. She was pregnant a couple weeks later.

my friend was in a similar situation. he couldn't wait til she left b/c she was getting kinda clingy near the end.

as soon as she left, he was all kinds of depressed and whatnot. we're on to week 4, though, and he's doing better.
