Carter is asleep holding his Phanatic doll. very cute.
The Phanatic usually lives on his dresser, so he must be gearing up for the season.

It'd have been a little amusing if TO had succeeded in killing himself a couple of years ago.

Anybody know of any area places where I can drop off a laser toner cartridge for recycling??? (preferably charitable, but anything's better than throwing it in the trash)

Today should be a great day, but a child with a fever is interfering with that.

I'm fucking knackered. cycled out to the race today, cycled back after sitting in the first aid car for about 4 hours, hoping that all the racers fancy echelon formations wouldn't get hit by by oncoming traffic. I'm doing first aid, not triage.

But (AND THIS IS IMPORTANT) I found out that cyling with an ipod earphone in one ear doesn't distract me from the road, so when I was cycling out, after some wheezetastic climbing over hills a pussy wouldnae fash about, I found my groove.

To Mogwai's Autorock.

Endorphins kicked in and it all felt fucking brilliant.

I'm thinking about cliches. When they first came out (I mean, Hamlet is basically one cliche after another, but they didn't become cliches until after Shakespeare wrote them.

I think it's the same thing with Link Wray's Rumble. I wonder what it was like to hear that for the first time in 1958.

i love reading missed connections on craigslist, and it seems that gay guys use the saunas at the washington sports club exclusively to have amorous relations with each other.

Try your library? Our library accepts toner cartridges and then send them off somewhere for money.

Don't know if you're anti medication, but Tylenol Sore Throat is AMAZING. I've never found something so wonderful at getting rid of a sore throat as this stuff.

BabyVox is sporting 102 degree fever and VoxJr just puked all over the kitchen floor.

Woo hoo, good times.

Oh, and Vox now swears by gargling with listerine for a sore throat.
