I'm pretty sure if I ran for office, I have some in-laws who wouldn't vote for me. Indeed, I have blood relatives I know wouldn't vote for me.

as well as internet phriends

I bet I could get Jerseyhoya drunk, play the tape of Superbowl XLII, and get his vote.

I'd vote for you against Palin. Even without the Super Bowl.

Right, all the talking until the next debate will be about how she didn't fuck up. Yay for Palin! McCain is ready to go!

No one's going to love her that didn't already love her. No one who has 11 brain cells will be convinced from her rote recital of 4 talking points that she's ready to be VP or be governor of a state that was in the union prior to WWII. She's no longer a "game changer." She's a liability with independents and a mental mediocrity that can't get through an interview with Katie Freaking Couric.

I'm watching this too. He turned it around--said that Biden closed strongly, which I think is right.

Watching her there with her baby, my strong dislike is receding. I just hope she goes home and does well by her family--not to Washington.
