I was thinking about how on the last out of the world series, every camera is pointed at the dugout, the GM, and all the key players from the Phillies so they could show their reaction to the final out. What if some controversial play happened at like 3rd base and they didn't get it on camera because of that. So when they went to show the replay they'd say like, "we don't have that on camera but here's Pat GIllick's reaction to that". And he's just sitting their with a grimace on his face and they have to pretend like they didn't screw up, so they're drawing circles around Pat Gillick's face and Tim McCarver is saying "he looks like he thinks that ball was foul" Let's play it again in slow motion, and they're going over it like the Zapruder film. That would've sucked
I'm glad my dad never makes me talk serious politics with him (although every once in a while he shares his ideas) because I definitely think a ridiculous argument would ensue.
"My hip is fucked up. I'm going to Africa for two weeks."
My dad will not tell anyone, including my mom and I, who he votes for. I think maybe he tells his brother, but he insists he doesn't tell anyone and that he doesn't think it's anyone's business. I think he really thinks everyone should keep their political views to themselves.
I was in the Center City DMV with my mom a few months ago and she's got her huge McCain/Palin pin and everything and there's this black woman in the seat ahead of us with a good inch of asscrack exposed and my mom goes, fairly loudly, "That's what you get with Obama."
Yeah, she's pretty much an idiot. She won't root for any sports team that has a foreigner on it. She wants the Eagles to lose because Sav Rocca shouldn't be taking some good American boy's job.
