Is anyone else surprised that "Mr. Pibb" somehow isn't a copyright infringement of "Dr. Pepper" considering they're pretty much the same drink.

I always thought it would be cool if the Mr. Pibb people could come up with an animated character for commercials, to be voiced by Sidney Poitier, who would say "They call me ... Mr. Pibb"

Coca-Cola (owner of Mr. Pibb) does most of the bottling and distribution for Dr. Pepper in North America, and distributes Dr. Pepper in most of the rest of the world. If you're Dr. Pepper, I figure suing Coke isn't a good move.

yeah, i remember when i sat in the little room just staring at mine for a while. i stared and stared trying to make out wtf was going on, and the doc walks in, glances at the MRI, and goes, "oh wow, there's nothing there. The ACL's completely gone. Yeah, you need surgery. Kthxbye."
