The charicature of goths as depressives is very misleading. It's well-know that the founder of goth*, one Robert Smith, is a very jouous and funny person.

And the morning after Halloween "walks of shame" are the absolute best. Just sit in Rittenhouse Square for a couple of hours late in the morning. The best I saw were a girl in full ballerina costume (tutu, etc.) and a guy in a complete suit of armor.
