Does the fact that Guitar Hero seems like the lamest idea ever for a video game say something about me?

Yeah, I mean how many leagues had scandals break last year about how their past playoffs were fixed? I mean, it's like Serie A is right here in America!

Ummmm, the MLB and NFL. And that's just in this country.

What in MLB? And if you're talking about the Pats when you say NFL, that's not even close to the same thing.

In MLB, the best hitter around can't get a job because of all this steroids crap which is in what it's tenth year? Maybe it didn't break this year, but whatever. In NFL, the Pats stuff most definitely counts.

But honestly, I don't care about that crap and I don't think you do either.

The NBA was ridiculously competitive last year. At least eight bonafide contenders. It was awesome.

The only reason I don't care about the NBA is because I don't have a team.

I'm pretty sure you're more defensive about the NBA than I am about the Republican Party.

I probably am.

If people just say they aren't interested, whatever. But I'm constantly hearing from people who haven't watched a game in years that either:
1) The college game is better, which is just crap.
2) Players palm the ball, travel all the time, and only run iso's. BS.
3) All NBA players are gun-toting thugs. These same people love the NFL.

I think the NBA is improving. But I really like high scoring basketball, and the whole Pat Riley emphasis on defense took a lot of the fun out of the game for me.

"The pen is mightier than the sword". If not for the space before the word "is", that quote would have a whole different meaning

just made myself a birthday present of a BP subscription. It's only been, like, 8 feckin' years to get round too. (were BP even a subscription service 8 years ago? I'm thinking actually 5 or 6).

Is there anything more stupefying than listening to Howard Eskin and Joe Philly trying on the fly to understand the NBA salary cap?

Everyone who uses Outlook should download Xobni. Lots of really cool time and frustration saving features. Plus if you like stats and data you'll get off on it

How do these freaks - male freaks - fit into these jeans? Is there a special diet that gives you three inch diameter calves?
