"Good guess, Whitey ..... IN CORRECT."

They are the thoughts floating in my head in the lead-up to a Montreal bachelor party this weekend. I have two days to decipher the exchange rate and "dance contact."

Does the exchange rate really kill the whole thing? Do the strippers laugh at weak dollar bills? What is it anyway? Are the ketchup fries five dollars a piece?

According to my one co-worker, the exchange rate is basically 1:1 and it costs a lot to get into the strip clubs but then the girls will do a lot for relatively little. Be he is a Mets fan.

The US and Canadian dollars are pretty similar right now, which isn't bad, but it stinks because my brother's Montreal bachelor party was in '04, and it was like 1.35 : 1 or so back then, and it felt like every fourth Molson was free.

And "dance contact" translates pretty literally. You are allowed -- nay, encouraged -- to do things there that would get you tossed out of US clubs.

There's no way Billy Joel is as imprtant as the Smiths. Do you think there's one young band or musican out there trying to sound like Billy Joel? I mean, unless they've got a long range plan of playing weddings for the next forty years?

That's got to be the weirdest thing you've had to deal with at work, I'd think.
