A wifebeater and either boxers or boxers/mesh shorts pretty much at all times.

I never understood the appeal of boxer-briefs. They are just hybrid tightys. Free your boys- let them breathe a little.

Speaking of which, I've tried Nautica, Calvin Klein, Banana Republic, etc... and nothing beats straight up Fruit of the Looms.
