OK, so our neighbors behind us are having a patio put in. The contractors have some kind of level that is electronic, and makes the MOST annoying high-pitched beeping/buzzing sound as they focus it or whatever. I don't know, except that every couple minutes I hear this noise and it drives me crazy.

Yeah, the contractor I used to work with had one of those. I never understood why it had to be that way.
