I really hate it when you go to a company's web site (or talk to an employee that works there), and you just can't figure out what the hell it is that the company actually does because they feel the need to dress it up with so much vague corporate jargon that it makes absolutely no sense.

I'm really tired of crap that is sold these days. Brand new mower worked twice and now won't start (see elctric mower thread). I bought a Canon multifunction printer in November, only use it for scanning and faxing, and the ink tanks are faulty. You have to replace the ink to get it to work. Not print, just work -- scan, fax -- you can't do that unless the ink is "full" Nevermind that I've only printed like ten or twenty documents from it.

You're not talking about the Canon MX 700? So far, we love ours.

I feel a little bad about all the blackberry brambles we pulled out of our garden. I know they'll come back, but it's pretty cool having berries right in your back yard, even if it's not all that many.

That was the system that scared the shit out of us last night. In the end, though, we got about 10-20 minutes of really intense rain, and then it was over. Today was stunningly nice.
